A Malaysian University Delegation Visited the Mashhad Branch of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Park

ICT Park's PR: A university delegation headed by Dr. Hang Tuah Baharudin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of industry at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), visited different sections of the Mashhad branch of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Park on June 14th, 2023.
A Malaysian University Delegation Visited the Mashhad Branch of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Park

The Mashhad branch of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Park, which is known as the Razavi site of ICT Park, consists of three different sites: Shahid Fakuri site, Post Bank building, and the old post office building,  a complex of more than 10 technology companies, two large accelerators in digital content production, all which are located within the premises.  
This Malaysian university delegation, which was accompanied by Eng. Khalili, President of ICT Park’s Mashhad Branch; Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Bagestan, a Faculty Member of University of Tehran and  Consulter for ICT Park Communication and International Affairs, as well as Eng. Javad Yazdanpanah,  Deputy of ICT Park’s Technology Development, in this one-day visit to the latest achievements of the technology companies located in the Mashhad branch of ICT Park.
Visiting the two big accelerators, Green Web and Nitech in the post building, visiting Mahak, Datis, Danesh Avaran, Mana Andisheh and other companies in the post bank building and visiting the new site of Shahid Fakuri which is under construction and development were among the other programs of the Malaysian delegation in this one-day visit.
Mashhad branch of ICT Park, which is known as the largest digital content production Park in Iran, is mainly active in digital content production, providing cloud services, producing and developing financial and banking services software, producing educational software and hardware, producing and editing animations, computer games and similar activities.
Dr. Mohd Nizam Osman, the Director of UPM's Community Development Center, and Dr. Loh Teck Chwen, the Dean of UPM’s Faculty of Agriculture, were also among the members of the Malaysian academic delegation.
The ICT Park's Mashhad branch, identified as the first special park for digital content production in  east part of Iran, was established in the old building of Mashhad's Post Office. This branch is about 300 meters. 50% of this space is dedicated to media content production, which so far, has provided many opportunities for entrepreneurship and also for exporting Iran's cultural data, considered as a priority for ICT Park.
Two main accelerators that are ICT Park's partners, including "Green Tech" and "Nitech" are located in this branch. These two accelerators support startups with different programs such as training and specialized acceleration.
