A Memorandum of Understanding and an Action-Plan for 2022-2023 Was Signed Between Iran's ICT Park and Tunisia's Elgazala Technopark

In this meeting, which was held online on September 6th, 2022, a memorandum of understanding and an action plan between the two parks was signed by Dr. Mohammad Jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh, the Advisor to the Minister and the President of ICT Park, and Dr. Mohammad Ali Mejri, the President of Algazala Smart Technopark in Tunisia.

As witnesses, Mr. Samir Al-Mansar, Tunisia's Ambassador to Tehran, and Mr. Sheibani, the Iran’s ambassador to Tunisia, were present at this meeting for signing agreements between the two parks.

It is worth mentioning that some of the axes of the agreement signed by the presidents of the two parks include "holding different meetings to introduce multiple commercial opportunities in both Iran and Tunisia", "holding business-to-business (B2B) meetings between the associate technology companies of the two parks", "holding an exhibition of technology products by the member companies of the two parks"; "holding two-sided visits for the representatives of the affiliated technology companies of the two parks" and "setting up a joint innovation center".

Besides the presidents of the two parks, Mr. Samir Al-Mansir, the ambassador of Tunisia in Tehran; Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan, Communication and International Affairs Advisor to the ICT Park, Eng. Jafari, the Deputy Director of ICT Park Market Development, Ms. Monia Jendoubi, the Head of the Entrepreneurship and Business Development Department in Elgazala Technopark; Rabiaa Hamzaoui, the Manager of the Incubator in Tunisia's Algazala Smart Technopark, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Shabani, the Deputy Ambassador of Tunisia in Tehran, were also present at the MoU signing ceremony between the two parks.
