A MOU Signed between ICT Park and Science and Technology Park of Semnan University

An MOU was signed between ICT Park and the Science and Technology Park of Semnan University, thanks to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s efforts in implementation of the National Information Network as well as the development of businesses in the field of Communication and Information Technology.

The main objective of this MOU is to facilitate the parties’ cooperation with each other in developing those businesses in Semnan Province which are based on Information and Communications Technology. Additionally, the following are the axes of this shared cooperation in the MOU:

• “Granting support credits to cores and Techno-companies admitted by ICT Park ,in accordance with the Park’s guidelines”;
• “Complete or partial delegation of the authority for the arbitration procedures and admission of cores and companies based on Semnan University Park’s readiness and the validation of ICT Park’s Admission Council to the Science and Technology Park of Semnan University”;
• “Allocation of some of ICT Park’s Digital Economy Development Center’s prefab steel buildings in the Semnan Province to Semnan University’s Science and Technology Park for operation and establishment of the core and techno-companies admitted by the ICT Park”.

It must be noted that this MOU was signed on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 by Dr. Mohammad Jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh, Advisor to the Minister and President of ICT Park, and Dr. Masood Nasiri Zarandi, the President of Semnan University.
