Deputy of International Relations in the Russian Digital Economy Organization Visited ICT Park as the Head of a Private Sector Delegation

In the introductory meeting of this visit, which was held in the presence of ICT Park's officials, Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan, Advisor for ICT Park Communication and International Affairs, presented a comprehensive report on the history of ICT Park, introducing its different branches, ICT Park's propulsion projects, several technology companies and their different ICT products.
With regard to the virtual meeting held between the two sides a few weeks before, Dr. Ghanbari baghestan once again pointed out that ICT Park's favorite axes of cooperation with the Russian side include establishing mutual agencies in the form of innovation centers, exporting and importing technology products, and developing B2B interaction.
It should be noted that in this meeting, besides Andrey Filippov, Deputy-Director of International Cooperation in the Russian Digital Economy Organization; Alexander Volkov, the CEO of VOLTAH; Anastasia Dobrovskaya, Project Manager of Cyber Security Company for Strategic Initiatives Agency, Pavel Dukan, Commercial Director of RZD-Technologies; Sergey Bakaev, representative of Severstal-Inform Company; Grigory Nenashev, Vice President of Security Cod's International Business Development Department, were also present.
Then, Andrey Filippov, Deputy-Director of International Cooperation in the Russian Digital Economy Organization, appreciated ICT Park's invitation and presented a brief description of Russia's undertaken activities in the previous year for replacing the industrial software and infrastructural systems mainly produced in the west with local samples produced in Russia.
He went on to explain how Russia has successfully established a proper link between different industries and small and medium-sized companies active in software, technology and infrastructure by monitoring its industries and assessing their requirements. He considered conducting these type of studies to assess the requirements of software and industrial technologies to be similarly useful for Iran and announced his willingness to share the Russian Federation's experiences in this regard with Iran.
Filippov also expressed his eagerness toward hosting Iranian specialists and experts in Russia and to visit the undertaken activities and the established infrastructures in Iran. Considering such cooperation useful for both Iran and Russia, he suggested that both sides can work as partners for developing advanced technologies including artificial intelligence, telecommunication networks, quantum technologies, and similar items.
Then, Dr. Ghanbari Baghestan, Advisor for ICT Park Communication and International Affairs, welcomed the proposals and invitation of the Russian side and mentioned the presence of 67 technology companies producing a total of 196 technology products, with 20 of them having received A level certificates in technology, and the development of the secretariat of Digital Economy Development Network (DEDN) in ICT Park, which includes more than 30 science and technology Parks across Iran, as two of ICT Park's main capacities for initiation further cooperation with Russian parties.
It is worth mentioning that at the end of this introductory meeting and in order to sum up the mentioned negotiations between the two parties, it was decided to pursue the issue regarding bilateral cooperation based on G2G and B2B models by holding future meetings.
