On the Last Day of the Trip to Mali;
A Cooperation MoU was Signed Between ICT Park and Mali's Ministry of Higher Education and Research

This cooperation MoU was signed by Mr. Ahmadu Kita, Mali's Minister of Higher Education and Research, and Dr. Mohammad Jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh in an official ceremony in the presence of Mr. Taleshi, Iran’s Ambassador in Bamako. This MoU has several foci, including helping Mali establish a university science park, setting up joint mutual offices, providing assistance in establishing joint technology companies, and ICT Park’s member companies sharing their technology and technology products with Mali and the West African region, besides other items.
At the start of this signing ceremony of the cooperation MoU, Mr. Amadou Ouane, Mali's Deputy-Minister of Higher Education and Research, enumerated the most important provisions of this MoU: "This MoU was written in three versions in English, Persian, and French, and from now on will be a roadmap for the cooperation between ICT Park, Malian universities, and Mali’s Ministery of Higher Education," he said.
"The foci of this MoU are broad and general, and all the universities that Iranian delegation of three ICT Park’s directors visited in the past three days have the opportunity and possibility of making use of the this MoU's provisions according to their needs and expertise," Mali's Deputy-Minister of Higher Education and Research added.
It is noteworthy that, the delegation of three ICT Park directors, consisting of, Dr. Mohammad Jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh, the Advisor to the Minister and the President of ICT Park; Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Bagestan, the Consulter for ICT Park Communication and International Affairs, and Eng. Mohammad Ali Jafari, the Director of ICT Park’s Techno-units’ Development Center, travelled to Mali for four days in order to develop ICT Park's international relations with the goal of developing the member companies' market especially in Africa. The plans for this trip consisted of meeting with Mali's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mali’s Minister of Communications, Digital Economy, and State Modernization, the President of the National Center for Scientific and Technological Research, and Mali’s Deputy-Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The plans also consisted of visiting the Kabala University complex in Bamako, the College of Science and Technology, the Institute of Applied Science and Technology, and the Rural Polytechnic Institute for Training and Applied Research.
