“Clustering” Grants Soon Will be Introduced to Technology Companies

Further, referring to the history of ICT Park’s various grants, he added: “The product development grant was introduced on a trial basis last year.” The call for the second phase will be announced soon, and ICT Park’s participation in the grants it donates will be up to 1 billion Tomans. 

Advisor to the minister and the president of ICT Park also announced the news of the clustering grant and said: “The regulation and the call for the clustering grant will be announced soon to ICT Park member companies.” This is a VC grant, and any company, regardless of whether it has a technology development grant, can also receive a clustering grant up to the equivalent of a technology development grant. 

The clustering grant is not given to the core company, but to the spin-off that is formed from the core company. 

He continued: “The next issue is related to the basic software needed by ICT Park and other organizations of the Ministry of ICT. 

ICT Park is negotiating with the Ministry of ICT and we hope it will be activated soon. These types of grants will be awarded only in case of the presence of a guaranteed market. 

In the end, Dr. Mohammad Jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh reiterated that ICT Park has started activities in line with internationalization and has established a good relationship with Africa. We hope we will enter foreign businesses cooperatively by developing these grants and using them optimally.
