Green Web Co. Presented Its Products

In this meeting, Mr. Mahdi Mohammadi, the CEO of Green Web knowledge-based holding, thanked ICT Park Group, introducing Green Web Co.: "One of the most important assets of companies is having a strong communication network; however, unfortunately, some agents do not pay attention to this issue," he said. "In the company's communication network, it is important to get familiar with different suppliers and partners besides getting to know the customers," he added.

The CEO of Green Web knowledge-based holding announced the company's ultimate vision as globalizing Iran's IT industry: "Specialized in cloud infrastructure services, Green Web Holding Group became a member of ICT Park. When a company's outlook is international, it can achieve sustainable success. Green Web knowledge-based holding provides web hosting, and cloud infrastructure services to 150,000 internet businesses. Companies that use Green Web services are hosted in 72 locations all around the world, and the holding provides services on 8,000 servers. In terms of human resources, 250 experts are working in this complex. Green Web Group has an international outlook; it could successfully export IT services and was selected as the best exporter for three consecutive years," he continued. 

He introduced Green Web subsidiary companies, including Iran Server (professional web hosting service center), Green Tech (accelerating innovation center focused on service export), Chapiroos Startup (the first knowledge-based start-up in the printing industry), Green Web Security Lab (providing security services), Araz Cloud (providing cloud infrastructure) and Poshtiban Cloud (proving cloud storage services).

"We are facing a phenomenon called Digital Transformation that has happened all over the world. An IT company is supposed to determine its position regarding this Digital Transformation. Three different fields, including artificial intelligence, cloud, and blockchain have been decided as Green Web Holding's field of specialty, that has a claim in Digital Transformation," said Mohammadi, regarding the importance of paying attention to international trends for entering the market, 

"Green Web has entered the area of infrastructure in the field of artificial intelligence regarding the fact that many great companies in Iran operate with artificial intelligence infrastructure requirements, that include cloud processing in the field of artificial intelligence, and Green Web can provide such infrastructure to different companies. Iran's government considers artificial intelligence one of its priorities so far that Iran's Supreme Leader has recommended different countries enter the field of artificial intelligence and powerfully move forward in this regard. Fortunately, the effects of sanctions are not significant regarding artificial intelligence because it is totally independent of hardware and only depends on the technical knowledge of the experts. Besides, there are no restrictive legislations concerning data processing in Iran; hence different companies can easily operate in this field.

He mentioned graphic processing services (IRAN GPU), cloud data centres, and blockchain cloud platforms as the products of artificial intelligence. 

"Graphic processing services are provided to the start-ups and companies operating in artificial intelligence in the form of basic graphic processing platforms and advanced graphics processing platforms. The cloud data center can provide services in two areas: cloud service and platform as a service, which is not limited to Iran and has been extended to 72 countries all around the world. The doctrine of Green Web Co. for the cloud data center is that Iran is not limited to Tehran and concentrating the data of the whole country in Tehran is a strategic risk. The next product is the blockchain cloud platform, applicable in cryptocurrencies. Start-ups and companies that want to develop applications in blockchain can create the blockchain they need on their platform simply with a few clicks as the blockchain platform works like an operating system," Mohammadi explained. 

"Green Web knowledge-based holding has designed a model for its development that improves partnerships in cooperation with other companies. Regarding clustering, two clusters have been created and it is believed that regarding clusters, we can produce joint products with different start-ups receiving support from Green Tech accelerator," stated the CEO of Green Web. 

In the end, Mohammadi considered 6 areas of database service, including corporate email service, use case service, WAF of the supply chain, use cases of different tenders, and use cases of smart contracts in the Green Web complex as necessary items that enable the company to attract other technology companies. 

It is worth mentioning; that the first session of this series of meetings to present the ICT technology ecosystem companies was held in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh, the Advisor to the Minister and the President of ICT Park.

In the end, a question-and-answer session was held between the companies present in this meeting.
