Electricity Substation No. 2 in ICT Park’s District Two Starts Operating

Regarding the importance of "power" and the necessity of providing electricity used in propulsive projects as well as technology companies located in the Park, ICT Park electric substation number two which is located in District two of this park started operation during a period from May to August 2022, with a capacity of 3200 kW.

This power station started its operation by producing electricity for the normal urban sector and providing an emergency power supply infrastructure to other developing areas of ICT Park with a 1600 kW power transformer and two 800 kW power transformers as well as increasing the distribution boards from 5 to 29 feeders.

It is worth noting that ICT Park's District Two is currently hosting 12 knowledge-based companies in 10 renovated apartment blocks, 6 multi-purpose halls, and 2 meeting halls, which have been put into operation in line with civil developments, supporting technological companies, and job creation.
