The Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana Visited Different Part of ICT Park

At the beginning of this visit, Dr. Mohammad jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh, the Advisor to the Minister and the President of Information Technology and Communication Park, who is the founder of Science and Technology Parks in Iran, elaborated on his twenty-five year experience in this field and on the primary requirements for developing and maintaining Science and Technology Parks in any other country.
Sadigh Damghanizadeh continued with introducing some of ICT Park's driving projects as Exporting cultural and artistic data, providing cloud services and exporting these services to the countries in the region, applying IoT in food safety issues, managing water consumption, localizing hardware technologies required in ICT industry and etc.
The Advisor to the Minister and the President of ICT Park also referred to ICT Park's smart greenhouse, introducing this IOT Greenhouse as the first fully mechanized national greenhouse, established with a space of about 100 square meters in ICT Park that reduces water consumption while increasing the products in comparison to other greenhouses in Iran.
Then, Dr. Ehsan Chitsaz, the Senior Advisor of ICT Park for Market Development, explained the technical and international aspects of establishing science and technology parks in Ghana, announcing Iran's ICT Park inclination to help develop ICT parks in Ghana.
Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan, the Advisor of Communication and International Affairs, also delivered a detailed report on ICT Park activities, the theme of these activities, and the potential areas for developing international cooperation, services, and capacities; also, he introduced the currently active sites of ICT Park in three provinces, including Alborz, Mashhad, and Semnan.
In the course of this meeting, the Ambassador of Ghana, Mr. Eric Owusu-Boateng, explained the situation in Ghana and expressed his interest in setting up a technology park in his country. He truly appreciated ICT Park's Greenhouse project and asked for ICT Park's assistance in setting up smart greenhouses and transferring the experience and technology of ICT Park due to water shortages and food security issues in his country.
At the end of this meeting, the Ambassador of Ghana and the accompanying delegation visited the companies present in ICT Park, including ESM Telecommunication, Arg Telecom, ICT Payam Gostar, the IoT Greenhouse, and UAV Logistics Lab.
It should be noted that in this meeting, Dr. Hafizi, the Vice-President for HR and Executive Affairs, Eng. Mohammad Ali Jafari, the Director of the Technology Units Development Center, and Engr. Javad Yazdanpanah, the Deputy of ICT Park’s Technology Development of ICT Park were present besides Dr. Mohammad jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh, Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan, Dr. Ehsan Chitsaz, the ambassador of Ghana, and his assistant.
