The meeting was held online, through Skype, with the attendance of all members of the Council.
Two applicant companies for the “Export Agent” license presented their plans

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mohammad Jafar Sadigh Damghanizadeh, President of ICT Park and member of the International Council, with regards to defining a framework for the applicant Export Agents willing to work with ICT Park said: “having a definite framework for selection of applicant companies for “agency” is essential; for as we move forward, the number of the applicants would increase and hence, we should be prepared.”

The President of ICT Park also offered a proposal that the members should consider the issues of “defining and evaluating the supporting financial credit for the development of the international market for the approved Park agents” and “ranking companies based on their background, capabilities, and performance.” He then deferred the decision-making to future meetings.

Dr. Ehsan Chitsaz, the deputy for market development and member of ICT Park’s International Council, welcomed the formation of the Council and remarked: “Through the efforts and authorities of the Council and reliance on the capabilities of the complex’s private sector, it is hoped that successful and sustainable development plans would be established by determining adducible frameworks and using them in all situations.”

Then, Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan, member of ICT Park’s International Council, stipulated the necessity of familiarity of the agents with the Park’s activities and said: “The familiarity of the two technological companies “Behta TEC Shanghai” and “Kariz Etemad Rayaneh Mehr” with the Park’s working space, as applicants of “export agency” is essential and companies must be acquainted with their products and domain of activities in a defined process.”

He went on to say: “the companies, based on their familiarity and experience of being present in the target markets,  should also submit a report to the Park and announce the export capacity of products and services of these companies in the two target countries.”

Dr. Mohammad Bagher Mojtabaee, Secretary-General of the Country Guilds and member ICT Park’s  International Council, with regards to deciding on the initial strategy for selection of the export agents, remarked: “the decision-making for the initial strategy of selection of the Park’s export agents should be based upon space competitiveness or monopolization of work to just  one agent .”

In this regard, Dr. Sadigh Damghanizadeh and Dr. Chitsaz emphasized the creation of competitive space in the Park since it leads to quality enhancement in the provision of services.

Referring to the burden of any project’s initial expenses, Dr. Damghanizadeh said: “in ICT Park, we seek to create a mechanism so that agents working as the first set in a country do not incur costs and losses. Therefore, according to Dr. Mojtabaee’s suggestion, one of these methods is the monopolization of the “agency” license in the target country, only for a limited period.”

Next, according to the agenda, the two technological companies, “Behta TEC Shanghai” and Kariz Etemad Rayaneh Mehr” began introducing their bodies as ICT Park’s applicants for “export agency,” which are respectively active in China and Afghanistan.

Moreover, this body has gained experiences from China’s environment due to its very close and operational interaction and cooperation in more than 600 Chinese cities on various pretexts of education, trade, etc. Also, Behta TEC Shanghai personnel are those who have witnessed the growth and prosperity of China from 2010 to 2020.”

The representative of Behta TEC Shanghai Company added: “at present, our collection has signed MOUs and formal contracts with ICT Parks based in different cities of China. Our group has become known as a brand in China and has established vital connections with universities and local governments. We intend to introduce Iranian technologies to China in various ways, including Joint Research Teams, joint investment, commodity exports, etc. It is also important for us to transfer the right technology from China to Iran.”

To further familiarized the Council members with “Kariz Mehr Etemad Rayaneh” company, Engr.  Safar Navadeh said: “right now, our Company owns a permanent exhibition space in Kabul, Afghanistan. On the top floor of this exhibition space, an office space has been provided in which the company’s marketing forces are active.”

Pointing to the close cultural affinity between Iran and Afghanistan, as well as the common language shared between the peoples of the two countries, he added: “without exaggeration, the Afghan market has a high capacity, and our body has been able to maintain good relations with influential individuals and the private sector in this country. For this reason, we announce our readiness to cooperate with ICT Park as an export agent.”
