The second meeting of the Russian-Iranian Working Group on Cooperation in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies held

The meeting took place in three separate sub-committees as follows:
1.    Cooperation in the field of communications and radio monitoring, co-chaired by the Telecommunication Infrastructure Company of Iran,
2.    Cooperation in the field of ICT, co-hosted by the Information Technology Organization of Iran, and
3.    Cooperation in the field of information security, co-hosted by the Information Technology Organization of Iran as well.  
The agenda of the second committee included issues such as smart city, e-learning, digital economy and e-government. In addition to representatives of the Information Technology Organization of Iran and the Ministry, representatives of the Information Technology Organization of Tehran Municipality, Iran Mobile Communications Company (Hamrah Aval), Irancell, the Institute of Communication and Information Technology and the Faculty of Applied Science of Post and Telecommunications were also present.
Having confirmed the necessity of strengthening bilateral cooperation by the both parties, the Russian companies presented their capabilities and potential according the agenda for the considerations of the Iranian side.
In the other committee for cooperation in the field of information security solutions in the field of information security were discussed. The three Russian companies presented their digital capabilities in the field of information security.
