ICT Park's PR: In order to develop and expand the international markets for Park's associated companies, an online meeting was held between Iran-Russia Trade Center and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Park on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.
The Presence of ICT Park's Technology Companies in the Russian Market Evaluated

At the outset of this online meeting between Iran-Russia Trade Center and the Information and Communication Technology Park, Dr. Abbas Ghanbaribaghestan, Advisor for ICT Park Communication and International Affairs, welcomed the online guests and introduced his colleagues present at the meeting. He also introduced the ICT Park and explained its nature and the facilities it provides: "ICT Park operates under the supervision of Iran's Ministry of Information and Communication Technology as a specialized Park in the field of ICT. The companies associated with the Park are also advanced and well-known in our national market. We at ICT Park assist these companies for further development, preparing them for regional and international participation. Most of the companies in ICT Park are fully prepared to enter the global market," he commented.
He also introduced different branches of the Park: "Currently, tech companies within ICT Park have over 196 products, of which over 74 products, meeting technical and general criteria such as technological depth, quality, competitive pricing, etc., have been selected for regional and international commercialization," he continued.
Dr. Ghanbari Baghestan also provided extensive explanations about the Park's international activities: "ICT Park has established successful international and regional relations with different African countries, including Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia, Mali, Ghana and Malaysia. In the case of Senegal and Mali, these relations led to the conclusion of joint cooperation agreements between ICT Park and the mentioned countries. At the moment, ICT Park has also become a member of the joint Cooperation Commission between Senegal and Iran," he added.
"In Russia, suitable relations have been established with Kazan Park and the Digital Economy Development Organization. Nevertheless, our observation of the Russian market revealed further significant opportunities for ICT Park's associated companies to enter Russia's ICT. Hence, we hope that we can run remarkable activities in this field with the coordination and cooperation of Iran-Russia Trade Center," added Advisor for ICT Park Communication and International Affairs.
Finally, Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan also suggested establishing an office for introducing ICT Park's representative in Iran-Russia Trade Center: "ICT Park is serious in presenting its member companies to Russia's ICT market and aims to adhere to this task", he said.
Following his speech, Dr. Amirreza Nikpour, Manager of Iran-Russia Trade Center, expressed his satisfaction about becoming familiar with ICT Park and establishing a basis for communicating with this Park, considering it an opportunity for joint cooperation between the two sides: "Iran-Russia Trade Center is licensed by Russian Development and Trade Organization; hence, providing legal, accounting, logistics, market research and export and import services are available options" he mentioned.
"Development of products with ICT Park's associated companies in Russia's ICT markets is a great idea; nevertheless, it demands constant communication and perseverance. Hence, in the first step, it would be more suitable for ICT Park to introduce an individual as a representative agent in the process of establishing an office in this center," pointed out, the Manager for   Iran-Russia Trade Center.
Next, Eng. Mohammad Ali Jafari, Director of ICT Park’s Techno-units’ Development Center : suggested an alternative plan: "ICT Park is the first Park that has an international activity license. Considering the services that Iran-Russia Trade Center can provide, it is necessary, therefore, that this center too introduces its representative agent in the preliminary stages. Consequently, we can explore the market for the products of some of ICT Park's selected companies more easily. Later, if the field of activity in these selected companies proves to be compatible with the Russian market, we can introduce the representative agent of the intended company with more certainty. Finally, if the communication between the parties proceeds according to the intended plans, ICT Park's office can be established in Iran-Russia Trade Center,” he clarified.
It is worth mentioning that in this meeting, besides Dr. Amirreza Nikpour and Dr. Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan, other members present included Eng. Mohammad Ali Jafari, Director of ICT Park’s Techno-units’ Development Center and Dr. Amin Shakeri, Head of Iran's Entrepreneurs Association.
