A Group of Investor Visited Fooladshahr Data Center in Isfahan

This visit was held on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023, at the end of the First Investment Opportunities Conference of National Information and Digital Economy Network in Iran's Data Centers. On this visit, a number of Deputy-Ministers of Information and Communications Technology and the Deputy-Governor of Isfahan were also present. 
On the sidelines of the first Conference on Investment Opportunities of National Information and Digital Economy Network in Iran's Data Centers, a field visit to Isfahan's Foodshahr’s Data Center was arranged by investors, who were closely introduced to  details of land division and allocation methods, tax exemptions and the timing of preparatory projects for the construction of data centers in the private sector.
During this visit, Dr. Ali Asghar Ansari, Deputy-Minister of Strategic Planning and Supervision, and Eng. Akbar Ghanbarpour, Advisor to the Minister and Acting President of ICT Park provided detailed answers to the investors' questions.
Eng. Akbar Ghanbarpour, Advisor to the Minister and Acting President of the Information and Communication Technology Park, welcomed the visitors and explained the admission process: "Like other admissions in the main site of ICT Park, the Park' s General Department of Admission and Evaluation is ready to receive the applicants’ requests, evaluate them and announce its result, and then, conclude the land assignment contract based on the applicant's request. When the companies receive their land, they can begin the designing process according to the specified construction framework that we have provided. After being approved by the Park complex, the intended design is to be sent to the provincial municipal complex. When the construction permit is received, the company can then finalize the construction program.," he explained. 
"As mentioned earlier, during a Conference on investment Opportunities of National Information Network and Digital Economy in Iran's Data Centers, 30 thousand square meters out of 105 hectares of total space in Fooladshahr consists of already-fully-built infrastructure that can be used by different companies," he added. 
Ghanbarpour described three types of contract, including long-term lease, long-term usufruct, and build, operate and transfer (BOT) and noted that currently, the determined provided land area for each company is 1,500 meters and there is also the possibility of merging" he clarified.
It should be noted that the First Conference on the Investment Opportunities of National Information and Digital Economy Network in Iran's Data Centers was hosted in Isfahan and attended by Iran's Deputy-Minister of Information and Communications Technology and Isfahan Deputy-Governor on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
