Ghanbarpour continued in an interview with ICT Park’s Monthly Newsletter.
Eng. Ghanbarpour also emphasized the significance of convergence and synergy in all Iranian organizations and institutions, especially the organizations working as subsets of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology with the aim of establishing the aimed national information network: “On the other hand, organizations such as the Communications Regulatory Authority, the Telecommunication Infrastructure Company, the Information Technology Organization, the National Post Company, the Space Agency, and other organizations under the ministry’s jurisdiction are obligated to support the technology companies that are taking steps in line with the Ministry’s priorities, acting as reliable supply sources for equipment besides operating as markets for the companies’ technological products,” he added.

The new President of ICT Park also referred to the activities that this Park has conducted so far in the regional and international areas: “ICT Park, in line with its international interaction, aims for three goals, ‘Developing the international market for the Park’s member companies and exporting their products’, ‘transferring new technologies to those countries in need of technological advancement’ and ‘sharing our experiences regarding establishing technology Parks with other nations,” he clarified.
Eng. Ghanbarpour, who is also in charge of Payam Special Economic Zone, pointed out the significance of developing interaction between ICT Park and Payam Special Economic Zone: “What I perceive as an opportunity today are the capacities and resources that Payam Special Economic Zone has overlooked in recognizing ICT Park, and vice versa. Thus, to realize collaboration between ICT Park and Payam Special Economic Zone, I invite colleagues and member companies of the park to explore the opportunities, facilities, space, and equipment available at Payam Special Economic Zone. The development space at Payam Special Economic Zone surpasses that of ICT Park, yet what it lacks is the flow of technology development and innovation, and these two entities can complement each other” he noted.
